An architect's professional life is spread across places that were never built for it — the portfolio on Instagram, the job hunt on LinkedIn, the real arguments in group chats that scroll away by morning, and the reading across a dozen unconnected publications.
Nothing treated architecture as a profession with its own centre of gravity: somewhere to debate the built environment, find work in it, and publish about it, among people doing the same thing.
- Built brand and product end to end — identity, logo, design system, and the platform itself across a web app and an installable mobile PWA.
- Drew the mark from the profession's own tools: a geometric A that reads as a drafting compass and a roof gable at the same time, held in strict monochrome.
- Made forums the centre rather than a feature — public and private groups, join requests, topic-tagged threads and polls, with a feed that surfaces conversation instead of broadcast.
- Built a jobs board for architecture and interiors specifically, filtered by location, with firms posting directly rather than through a general listing site.
- Added an editorial layer organised by what the profession actually argues about — the future of cities, space architecture, and where AI lands in practice.
- Gave members one real identity across all of it: followers, group memberships, notifications, and control over what the network sees.
- Produced the launch film and the AI-generated video work, and set the marketing up to run behind it.
Running as one product across web and an installable mobile app.
Forums, jobs and articles share a single account rather than sitting as three tools bolted together.
The identity carries from the app icon through to the launch film without a redraw.
